FAITH
Faith is at the heart of everything we do at Our Lady Academy. As a Catholic school, we are deeply committed to nurturing the spiritual growth of our students through prayer, service, and reflection.
Our vibrant faith life includes celebrating the Holy Mass as a school community, daily religion classes, annual class retreats, monthly Eucharistic Adoration, and an active Campus Ministry club. In every aspect of student life, we encourage students to deepen their relationship with God and live out their faith in meaningful ways.
While our traditions are rooted in Catholicism, we welcome students of all faith backgrounds and encourage an environment of respect, dialogue, and shared spiritual growth. No matter where you are on your faith journey, OLA provides a supportive and inspiring community where you can grow in both mind and spirit.

School Masses
Twice a month, our school community gathers to celebrate Mass together. Each grade takes turns assisting with the liturgy by reading and participating in the Liturgy of the Word. Students also have the opportunity to serve as altar servers and Eucharistic ministers, while our school choir occasionally leads us in song. Though our worship is deeply rooted in Catholic tradition, all students are invited to join in prayer and reflection, fostering a sense of unity and shared faith.

Religion Classes
Every student at Our Lady Academy takes a religion class each year, learning alongside their grade level. Whether a student has grown up in the Catholic faith or is new to religious studies, they are welcomed and supported in the classroom.
Courses cover Catholic teachings, including Scripture, morality, Church history, sacraments, and social doctrine, with opportunities for deeper reflection and leadership in our Campus Minister class.
While rooted in Catholic tradition, our religion classes are designed to be engaging and meaningful for students of all backgrounds, fostering discussion, understanding, and personal spiritual growth.

Class Retreats
Each year, students participate in a class retreat, a full-day experience designed to strengthen their faith and deepen their bond as a class. Led by our Campus Minister Retreat Team—a group of trained senior leaders—these retreats offer a mix of spiritual renewal, reflection, and fun. Through prayer, activities, and meaningful discussions, students grow in their faith while also strengthening the sisterhood that makes Our Lady Academy so special.

Eucharistic Adoration
Our Lady Academy is blessed to be part of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church, a beautiful and historic church overlooking the Gulf. Each month, our religion classes visit the church’s perpetual Adoration chapel, a peaceful space for quiet prayer and reflection.
Located right next to our campus, the chapel is also open to students during their lunch breaks, providing a place to step away from the busyness of the day and spend time in the presence of Christ.

Campus Ministry
Campus Ministry is an active and welcoming club for students of all grades, dedicated to serving others and living out our faith in action. Members take part in service projects that support those in need, such as playing bingo with nursing home residents and organizing a baby shower drive to collect essentials for moms in need. Campus Ministry also encourages daily Mass attendance and works to promote Christ’s presence throughout our school community, fostering a spirit of compassion, leadership, and service.
